The Highway J Citizens Group, U.A.'s grassroots mission is to: 1) Stop unnecessary, fiscally-irresponsible and environmentally-damaging road expansion projects in our rural neighborhoods (most notably, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's planned four-lane expansion of Highway 164 in both Waukesha and Washington Counties), 2) Protect our groundwater quality, 3) Promote proper land use decisions, and 4) Preserve our overall quality of life in this beautiful Kettle Moraine area of Southeastern Wisconsin.
